January always feels long and can be tough, but this year it really seems to have gone on forever. We’re so close to the finish line and in the final week now but if you’re still feeling a little blue, I’ve put together a list of things to do that have helped me feel better, and they might work for you too!

A Visit To Kimi’s Pet Emporium
I absolutely love it when my Auntie and Uncle go on holiday. Not because I want rid of them, just because it means I get to help my Grandma look after my favourite little floof…Crunchie!
If you follow my socials you’ll no doubt be familiar with him. He’s a two and a bit year old Coton de Tulear who’s lively, playful and a little bit of a pain in the bum! We love him though, obviously.
Last month when we were looking after him, we decided to have a run out and took him to our family friends pet store – Kimi’s Pet Emporium!
Street Food at HWKRMRKT, By The River Brew Co
If you’ve visited the HWKRMRKT at By The River Brew Co before then you’ll know it’s the ultimate hangout spot! I mean, is there anything better than spending the afternoon or evening catching up with friends whilst working your way around various vendors trying all different types of food? I think not!
Cocktail Classes at Banyan!
Taking up residence right in the heart of Newcastle city centre, Banyan has been the bar on everyone’s lips (and Instagram) since it opened back in March. I’ve been so excited to visit so when I was invited along to one of their cocktail masterclasses, I jumped at the chance!

VIP Night At Master Debonair!
Earlier this month Adam and I were invited along to a VIP evening at Master Debonair, the independent menswear retailer in East Boldon. The invite came through at the perfect time as we’d literally JUST been looking at suits that day ready for a wedding Adam is attending this summer – so we couldn’t wait to get there and have a look around!
A Visit To Lola Jeans… Eventually!
There are certain bars and restaurants in the North East that I see people talk about and praise a lot on social media, and Lola Jeans is one of them.
Forget Diamonds, Thorntons Pearls Are A Girls Best Friend!
They say diamonds are a girls best friend but you know what I love? Pearls!
Don’t get me wrong, if you want to buy me diamonds I’m absolutely fine with that (wink, wink) but I’ve always been drawn to pearls. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I’m a June baby and they’re one of our birthstones! I got a beautiful pearl ring for my 21st birthday and it’s nearly always on my finger.

1189 Bar & Kitchen Launch
A couple of weeks ago I was invited along to the VIP launch of the new 1189 Bar & Kitchen at the beautiful Walworth Castle Hotel, just outside of Darlington.
The restaurant has opened it’s doors following a £50,000 refurbishment and I was so excited to head along with Adam and see what the menu had to offer!

My Clarins Skincare Range
I’ve been using Clarins for years now, and it all came about because my Mam swears by their products. I remember when I was younger I was looking for a decent foundation that 1- didn’t make me look like an Oompa Loompa and 2- gave me full coverage that lasted throughout the day. That’s when my Mam took me to Clarins and got me my first Everlasting Foundation – it’s been a constant in my make up bag ever since and I don’t know what I’d do without it.

Things I’m Looking Forward To This Spring
April is here, spring has sprung and I don’t know about you but this time of year always brings a smile to my face. I love the lighter nights, seeing the flowers bloom and just spending time wandering around in the sun!
