December is here, the countdown to Christmas is on and we all know what that means… it’s panto season!
Myself and the family were invited along to Forum Theatre Billingham again this year for their panto The Further Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook. We loved Cinderella last year so couldn’t wait for this one.

Last night I took a trip to Northampton, London and Milan all via the wonderful Stockton Globe for the opening night of Kinky Boots The Musical!

Let me start by telling you that before I entered the theatre yesterday, I knew nothing about Kinky Boots. I’d often seen the red boots image dotted about theatres or social media and thought ‘oooh that looks fun’ but didn’t actually know the story.
That made it all the more exciting as I had no idea what was about to unfold before my eyes…

Divorced. Beheaded. Died.
Divorced. Beheaded. Survived.
Except last night (and until the 2nd of January!) it’s divorced, beheaded, LIVE at Stockton Globe as SIX makes its royal return to Teesside following a sold out run last year.
If you want female empowerment, dazzling costumes and banging tunes then you’ve definitely come to the right musical!

Christmas is fast approaching and one of my favourite traditions this time of year is to see a pantomime.
This year, we were lucky enough to be invited along to the press night at Forum Theatre Billingham for this years panto, Cinderella!

Dear Diary… Heathers the Musical has been a show that I’ve wanted to see for so long and I’m so glad I finally got to see it on opening night in Stockton!
I took a trip to Westerberg High, via Stockton Globe, for the darkly hilarious musical and, let me tell you, it certainly didn’t disappoint.

As you may know from my previous post, Adam and I were invited down to Stockton for the day-long music festival The Gathering Sounds on Saturday 24th September. The line-up this year was absolutely STACKED so we made sure to get ourselves down early to make the absolute most of the day. I reckon we did well considering we got to see 11 acts during our time there and covered all 5 venues!

With that in mind, let me tell you all about it.
Continue readingCast your minds back to April and you’ll remember how excited I was for the return of Stockton Calling, a brilliant daylong music festival that takes place across numerous venues in Stockton centre every year. One of the teams behind the festival, KU Promotions, decided to create another all-day event called The Gathering Sounds which takes place in just a few days on Saturday 24th September, and I’m here to tell you all about it!

Saturday 16th April 2022 – What. A. DAY!
As you might know, Adam and I were invited along to this years Stockton Calling and I tell you what, it didn’t disappoint. Their first festival back since the pandemic and our first festival of the year.
It was a special day from start to finish so let me tell you all about it!

Festival season is well within reach and for me it all starts THIS weekend with the return of Stockton Calling!
I’m getting so excited for the daylong festival that I’ve had the SC playlist on repeat these last couple of weeks getting myself hyped for it. It’s been so nice to as well to discover new artists that I’ve never heard in readiness for the festival too. There are over 80 artists performing across 11 venues throughout the day and, although it would be awesome to, sadly you can’t see everyone. I’ll definitely be getting the steps in on Saturday as I run about town trying to catch as many people as I can though!
With that in mind, here’s a list of who I would like to see at the festival.
