Happy New Year! 2020 is here and I don’t know about you, but I’m planning on making it my best year yet.

I’m a little late again this year on reflection posts as I’ve been taking time out to spend the festive period with family away from my laptop, but I am back and I am READY to give you my Burgess’ Buff Blokes of 2019 list!

If you’re unfamiliar with this, let me explain…

1. I put together a list of my top 25 sexy celebs of the year.

2. In order to be featured they have to have done something during the year.

3. Only 3 men from my previous years list can make it into this one!

25. PEP GUARDIOLA 

 

I swear I saw more of Match of the Day over the festive period than I did of my own family but that meant seeing a lot of Pep and therefore I am not complaining in the slightest. He’s lush.

24. MARC MARON

Don’t you DARE try and @ me on this ok? I love GLOW on Netflix and I find him extremely attractive in the show. That’s that. Thank you, next.

23. ALLEN LEECH

How chuffed were you that Downton was back this year AND on the BIG SCREEN?! I love his character Branson. He’s got a gorgeous lil smile and he’s Irish soooo…

22. CLAYTON CARDENAS

 

I totally loved Mayans M.C. and completely fell in love with Clayton Cardenas when watching it. Delicious.

21. KARL URBAN

 

If you watched The Boys then you’ll definitely understand why Karl Urban is on the list (not to be confused with Keith Urban like me Dad does whenever I talk about him). Dodgy accent aside, he was super sneaky and sexy and I am 100% on board with that.

20. WINSTON DUKE

 

Right I was actually TERRIFIED of Us when I saw it at the cinema and the only thing that kept me going while I was watching it was the extremely handsome specimen that is Winston Duke. He’s so big and gorge and I feel like he could just put his arms around you and you’d be safe forever. Swoon…

19. BRAD PITT

 

Did not enjoy Once Upon A Time In Hollywood however I did enjoy seeing Brad Pitt on the big screen in a Hawaiian shirt. He’s got a proper sexy voice and a cheeky lil smile and I’m here for it.

18. CHRISTIAN BALE

I don’t know what it is about Christian Bale’s face but I could stare at it forever. Like he’s got proper sharp features and is just really suave and sexy and I’m a real big fan. REAL big. I’m very much drawn to his smile/teeth. Is that weird? Probs. Also, he’s a bloody brilliant actor and I thought he was fantastic as Ken Miles in Le Mans ’66!

17. ADAM DRIVER

 

Like, I just REALLY fancy his voice. Do you know what I mean? I’d love for him to read to me every single night please and thank you. I’d also very much like to run my hands through his hair because it looks really soft. What conditioner do you use Adam? TELL ME.

16. ANTHONY MACKIE 

ON YOUR LEFT.

 

I love Anthony Mackie. He’s funny AND he’s lush – winning combo.

*He was also VERY nice to me when I met him a couple years ago so he gets extra points for that as well. LOVE.

15. JACK LOWDEN

 

He’s a funny one Jack Lowden, mind. Like he kind of just looks like I’d walk past him in the street without a second glance but here he is at number 15 on my list. Why? I don’t really know, but there’s just something about him that I am intrigued by and it makes me like him a lot. He was class in Fighting With My Family. Tbf, he’s been class in everything I’ve seen him in.

14.  THE MIZ

Right, I started watching wrestling last year and it’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened in me life because there are SO MANY GORGEOUS MEN!!!! The Miz is one of them. He also has adorable bairns and is a class Dad which makes my heart burst. He is a dream.

13. GERARD BUTLER

2013: Olympus Has Fallen.
2016: London Has Fallen.
2019: Angel BURGESS HAS FALLEN…IN LOVE WITH GERARD BUTLER.

 

12. LEONARDO DICAPRIO 

There’s no denying that Leo was a heartthrob when he was young, but bloody hell the man is like a fine wine – he gets better with age! He always looks like he’s keeping a secret as well, do you know what I mean? I like that. It makes him seem interesting.

11. CILLIAN MURPHY

BY ORDER OF THE PEAKY BURGESS CILLIAN IS ON THIS LIST.

I fancy him as his usual Irish self but I especially fancy him as Thomas Shelby. The suits, the haircut, the voice. HUBBA HUBBA. But also speaking of his voice, have you heard him do a radio show? Arrrr here, when he sits in on BBC 6 Music I am all ears. Best couple hours of your life there, huns.

10. BEN BARNES

I feel like he’s staring into my soul AND I LOVE IT.

EYES. VOICE. FACE.

He’s a babe. That is all.

 

9. ALL 3 JONAS BROTHERS

 

Look, I can’t pick a fave so I’m lumping all 3 of them together and obviously with their collective gorgeousness they make the top 10.

Who is your fave? Can you even pick one? It’s impossible. I’m a SUCKER for them all.

8. ROBERT DOWNEY JR

Hi, hello, I think you’re all with me when I say that RDJ is an absolute dreamboat and I would personally like to thank him for his service in the MCU. Look at him man. Legend. Beautiful, wonderful legend.

7. JAKE GYLLENHAAL

Here, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again until I’m blue in the FACE – Jake is one of the most underrated actors and he’s so lush with his big puppy dog eyes. Unreal. Loved seeing him as Mysterio in Spidey!

6. SETH ROLLINS

 

Seth was one of the first wrestlers that I fell in love with and I proper love whenever he’s on the screen because he’s just all topless and throwing his long hair around and flipping about and that and honestly I’m like HIYA. Heart eyes emoji x100000.

 

5. CHRIS EVANS

 

Chris Evans makes me swoon at the best of times but when he’s got a beard he’s just something else and therefore I was obviously very overwhelmed when Captain America had a beard in Endgame and it was a magical experience. He’s also just the kind of man I’d want to cuddle up on the settee with and not move for days. Snuggles forevs.

4. JON BERNTHAL

Jon Bernthal actually makes iz weak at the knees. He called me ‘sweetie’ once and I had to sit down after because I thought I was going to pass out. He’s hard as nails and I love him in Punisher. Hunreal.

3. JOHNNY GARGANO

 

Another wrestler! Johnny Gargano is something else though. Honestly.

He’s kind, he’s a geek, he’s fit as owt, he wears superhero themed wrestling gear sometimes, he’s got the nicest of faces…honestly I could go on forever about how much I love Gargano. He’s an absolute sweetheart and makes me cry loads because I love him. He’s the whole shebang.

2. SEBASTIAN STAN

 

SURPRIIIIIIIIISE!

Did you really think Seb wasn’t going to be in this list? Like HELLO he’s one of the most perfect specimen to exist on the planet and tbf in the universe. The photoshoot he did recently for Men’s Health magazine was actually bad for MY health and made me SCREAM. I’m not even joking, I felt faint when I saw the photos and made a ridiculous noise out loud (this is one of said photos). Arrrrr honestly, he’s just a babe. Absolute BABE. I’m crying just thinking about him. CRYING.

1. KEANU REEVES

 

And in at number one for 2019… KEANU REEVES!

I always thought he was canny fit but the John Wick trilogy made me fall truly, madly, DEEPLY in love with him. That long hair, the suits, his voice… I’ve got actual shivers just thinking about him. Goodness me man, he’s such an absolute stunner. His cameo in Always Be My Maybe was also hilarious and made me love him even more.

What a dream man.

ANYWAY there we have it, my list for 2019. Other honourable mentions go to Adam and Peter Barlow from Coronation Street because they’ve proper had a glow up this year and have made the soap even more enjoyable.

I suppose I’ll give my boyfriend Adam a mention too. He’s lush.
