December is here, the countdown to Christmas is on and we all know what that means… it’s panto season!
Myself and the family were invited along to Forum Theatre Billingham again this year for their panto The Further Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan: The Return of Captain Hook. We loved Cinderella last year so couldn’t wait for this one.
Earlier this month I popped along to a preview evening of The Green Room – the brand new bar at Newcastle Theatre Royal!
If you know the Theatre Royal, you’ll know it’s one of the most iconic venues in the North East, and now it’s opened its doors in a whole new way.

To be honest, there’s nothing quite like a panto to get you in the Christmas spirit so Adam and I were over the moon to be invited along to Darlington Hippodrome for their press night of this years show, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan!
ALWAYS SOCIAL, NEVER SALTY!
If there’s one thing I love when I visit a European city, it’s a food and drinks market. It always feels like the perfect place to socialise, get a taste of the city (literally) and have fun!
Well that’s exactly what Salt Market Social felt like for me.
Last week Adam and I were invited down to Newcastle’s brand new beer garden, Jesmond Beach Box, to check out the atmosphere and try out some food!
Situated behind The Holy Hobo, near As You Like It, Jesmond Beach Box boasts a huge outdoor hang out area with various street food vendors, bars and market stalls and it’s the perfect spot for summer get togethers.
I absolutely love it when my Auntie and Uncle go on holiday. Not because I want rid of them, just because it means I get to help my Grandma look after my favourite little floof…Crunchie!
If you follow my socials you’ll no doubt be familiar with him. He’s a two and a bit year old Coton de Tulear who’s lively, playful and a little bit of a pain in the bum! We love him though, obviously.
Last month when we were looking after him, we decided to have a run out and took him to our family friends pet store – Kimi’s Pet Emporium!
Last month I was lucky enough to find an email in my inbox inviting me along to River Bar in Washington to try their new menu. I’m always looking for new places to eat around the North East and having never been before, I jumped at the chance.
There are certain bars and restaurants in the North East that I see people talk about and praise a lot on social media, and Lola Jeans is one of them.
