KINKY BOOTS THE MUSICAL: REVIEW, STOCKTON GLOBE

Last night I took a trip to Northampton, London and Milan all via the wonderful Stockton Globe for the opening night of Kinky Boots The Musical!

Let me start by telling you that before I entered the theatre yesterday, I knew nothing about Kinky Boots. I’d often seen the red boots image dotted about theatres or social media and thought ‘oooh that looks fun’ but didn’t actually know the story.

That made it all the more exciting as I had no idea what was about to unfold before my eyes…

SIX THE MUSICAL: REVIEW, STOCKTON GLOBE

Ok so we all know how it goes…
Divorced. Beheaded. Died.
Divorced. Beheaded. Survived.

Except last night (and until the 2nd of January!) it’s divorced, beheaded, LIVE at Stockton Globe as SIX makes its royal return to Teesside following a sold out run last year.

If you want female empowerment, dazzling costumes and banging tunes then you’ve definitely come to the right musical!

The Gathering Sounds – Review (AD)

As you may know from my previous post, Adam and I were invited down to Stockton for the day-long music festival The Gathering Sounds on Saturday 24th September. The line-up this year was absolutely STACKED so we made sure to get ourselves down early to make the absolute most of the day. Ones to Watch at Stockton Calling! (AD)

Festival season is well within reach and for me it all starts THIS weekend with the return of Stockton Calling!

I’m getting so excited for the daylong festival that I’ve had the SC playlist on repeat these last couple of weeks getting myself hyped for it. It’s been so nice to as well to discover new artists that I’ve never heard in readiness for the festival too. There are over 80 artists performing across 11 venues throughout the day and, although it would be awesome to, sadly you can’t see everyone. I’ll definitely be getting the steps in on Saturday as I run about town trying to catch as many people as I can though!

With that in mind, here’s a list of who I would like to see at the festival.

A Guide To Stockton Calling 2022 (AD)

The countdown to Stockton Calling is officially ON!

Four weeks today on the 16th of April, the daylong music festival returns after a 2 year hiatus (thanks to bloody Covid!) and the organisers have gone all out to bring us an absolute stellar line up for their comeback!

I have so many amazing memories from years gone by at the festival, but if you’ve not heard of Stockton Calling then let me enlighten you…
