AUTUMN BUCKET LIST!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Autumn is my favourite season! I’m so happy it’s that time of year once again- the leaves are changing colour, the nights are getting darker and it’s time to wrap up in aaaaall of the knitwear!

To celebrate this wonderful season, I’ve come up with a little Autumn to-do list for the next couple of months.

Try An Autumn Inspired Recipe

I’m thinking some kind of nice pumpkin spice cake or a lovely pie…or maybe I need to get the slow cooker out? I’ve got so many ideas in mind and I’m excited!

Have A Horror Night

I’m not the biggest horror fan BUT there are some scary films I like so I want to get curled up under the duvet with Adam, eat some popcorn and have a good ole fright fest. I’m thinking The Lost Boys and The Strangers for definite.

Go Pumpkin Picking

I haven’t visited a pumpkin patch for years – think the last one I went to was at Hatton Country World (which is amazing!) and I’ve been desperate to go to one since. I came across East Grange Farm on Instagram recently which is relatively close to us so we’ve got a time slot booked in a few weeks and I can’t wait!

Visit Jesmond Dene

Adam and I are just heading up the road to Jesmond for our anniversary in October and I’ve never been to Jesmond Dene before so I’m definitely going to suggest a lovely little walk while we’re there. It looks beautiful.

Decorate The House For Halloween

Honestly as soon as October hits we love to decorate the house with various pumpkins, witches and other spooky things. Usually we get to have a big Halloween party too but sadly due to Covid we’ve already cancelled that this year (gutted!) but the house will still be decorated for us to enjoy ourselves. I might even still dress up for Halloween as well – I love fancy dress!

Wrap Up In Big Jumpers

I’ve already excitedly sorted my wardrobe out to put away my summer clothes and replace them with all of my lovely big jumpers…and I may have even bought a new one already too! Nothing better than being cosy at this time of year.

Visit A Market

I absolutely love a look around a market and I’ve been meaning to head back to Tynemouth Market for a while – I haven’t been in years. That’s definitely on the list of things to do one weekend. We’ve also been loving Salt Market Social each month since I was invited along to the opening in August (you can read my blog about it here) and have been twice since. We’ll definitely head back again in the next couple of months.

So that’s my bucket list for Autumn 2020, what’s on yours?

Ah no are they?! Keep an eye out in case they release some more 🤞🏼 I think somewhere called Brocksbushes Farm does pumpkin picking too in Corbridge if that’s near for you? Thank you, I’m excited for it – my favourite season 🍂🍁
