I think August may have been my busiest month yet – honestly feel like I was non-stop! It was full of fun as always though so let’s jump straight in and I’ll tell you what’s been happening.

WEDDING CAKE TASTING

So one of the best things to happen is that one of my gorgeous best friends and bridesmaids, Jocelyn, has agreed to bake our wedding cake for us! She’s so amazing she belongs on Bake Off and honestly I feel so honoured that she said yes. Anyway, she baked a LOT of cake for us to taste test and we finally decided on our flavours! You’re not getting to know that though…

THIS IS PROGRESS

I FINALLY headed along to my very first Progress show in August which I was so excited about. They visited Boiler Shop, Newcastle, on their summer tour so with our friends Adam and I headed along for a perfect Sunday afternoon at the wrestling! Highlights of the day were definitely Liam Slater, and that main event of The 0121 vs Big Damo, Luke Jacobs and HAYATA!

LEEDS FEST

Felt so nostalgic heading back to Leeds Fest as I haven’t been in bloomin years! Adam went for the whole weekend but myself, Jim and Jocelyn went down for the Sunday for Bring Me and Arctic Monkeys! The fact that Pendulum did a secret set was the absolute icing on the cake.

WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING

Here’s what I was watching in August.

1- BULLET TRAIN
Here right, Bullet Train is honestly one of the best films of the year. Cast is brilliant and I laughed so hard it hurt. Can’t wait to watch it again!

2- SHE HULK
Sooo started She Hulk on Disney Plus and whilst I’m thrown by the breaking of the 4th wall (I’m not a huge fan of that) I’m actually quite enjoying it!

3- THE RESIDENT
Eeee I’m so behind on The Resident so I’ve been catching up on Disney Plus and it’s just so bloody good!
