October was a wonderful month – I’ve really been embracing Autumn, Arctic Monkeys and Taylor Swift released new albums and Halloween was a success. Let me tell you aaaall about it!
GET IN THE SEA
I’m so happy to have ticked something big off my Thirty Before Thirty list in October – I finally went in the sea! I was so nervous about doing it but Ashley convinced me it would be fine…and it was! I’ve really been struggling with my mental health this month and after spending some time in the sea, I felt calmer than I have in a while. I can totally see why people do it and I’ll absolutely be doing it again.

BACK TO THE 80’S
I went to two incredible gigs in October – Morrissey and Billy Idol!! Considering I’m a 90s baby I was living my 80s dreams and loved every single second of it. Both of them ripped their tops off during their sets and basically from now on I only live for gigs where old blokes are shirtless. Thank you.

BURGESS HALLOWEEN HAPPENING
The annual Burgess Halloween party was an absolute success again this year! I love having all our friends and family round to dress up and celebrate my fave time of year. This year I dressed up as Billy Butcher from The Boys and I was absolutely here for it. So was Karl Urban because he shared my photo on his Insta story (FANGIRLS!!!)

Special shout outs this month as well go to pumpkin picking with the family, having my bridesmaid try their dress on, celebrating our wonderful friends engagement party and also, Adam and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary!

WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING
Here’s what I was watching in October.
1- MRS HARRIS GOES TO PARIS
Eeee we went to the cinema to see this and honestly I absolutely adored it. Lesley Manville is just wonderful!
2- HOCUS POCUS 2
Omg right I know it had mixed reviews but I absolutely LOVED Hocus Pocus 2!! So brilliant having the Sanderson sisters back and had some great little nods to the first film. So good!
3- HOUSE OF THE DRAGON
Adam and I have FINALLY got round to starting House of the Dragon (only a few episodes in) and we’re loving it. Paddy Considine is bloody fantastic so far and Matt Smith is doing a wonderful job of MAKING ME HATE HIM!

Can’t quite believe we’re two weeks into November, it’ll not be long before we’re catching up again!
