November: The Debrief

I absolutely cannot believe that we’re into the last week on the lead up to Christmas and I’m only just writing my November debrief! Can you tell it’s been a busy few weeks? Anyway November seems like a lifetime ago but here’s what I got up to…

NORTHUMBERLAND ZOO

Adam and I took a few days off work together in November and having drove past the sign many times before, we finally took a trip to Northumberland Zoo! It was an absolutely fab way to spend a few hours. We got to see some beautiful animals including snow leopards, lemurs and arctic foxes – and we got to meet some insects too! I honestly can’t wait to head back again.

PROPER ROAST

I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal but honestly, it was to me. In November I FINALLY cooked my first proper Sunday dinner and honestly, I was well impressed with myself! Pork, crackling, banging roasties, Yorkshire puddings…it’s safe to say I bloody nailed it.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS

While we were off, we also decided to head down to York to visit the Christmas Markets! We went last Christmas and had such a wonderful time so knew we had to go along this year as well. They were so busy but we still managed to have a wander, buy some goodies and fit in some scran at Valhalla pub. Would definitely recommend their Yorkshire tapas!

WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING

Here’s what I was watching in November.

1- IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA
Adam started watching this and I’ve just jumped in and honestly, I cannot believe that we’ve not watched it sooner!

2- THE MENU
Oh my GOD, if you haven’t seen The Menu then I’m telling you right now you need to. It was clever, dark, funny and just pretty fantastic really. The cast were amazing and I can’t wait to watch it again.

3- WAKANDA FOREVER
I headed along to see the Black Panther sequel, Wakanda Forever, and bloody hell it was so emotional. I really enjoyed the film and it was such a touching tribute to Chadwick.

I promise I won’t make you wait as long for the final debrief of 2022!
