Well first of all – APOLOGIES! Can’t believe March is nearly over and I’m just writing my February debrief now. I know I always say life is busy but getting this close to the wedding (less than 5 weeks now!!) I don’t know whether I’ve been coming or going and totally forgot to write this post. Anyway, let’s just get straaaaight into it.

TO THE TARDIS!

For Adam’s birthday I surprised him with a day trip to Edinburgh to visit the Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder exhibition which was absolutely brilliant! It’s on at the National Museum of Scotland until the 1st May and is an absolute MUST for any Doctor Who fan. You can see how characters were created, the science behind time travel and get photos of the shows villains…and the Tardis!

DEEP NORTH DOUGHNUTS

We headed along to Sunniside, Sunderland for the Local Heroes market at the end of Feb which had so many fab stalls with goodies on offer. Grabbed some Geordie Banger sausages, obviously, and this absolutely delish Creme Brûlée doughnut from the Deep North stall! Deep North make artisan doughnuts and have a coffee shop over in Tynemouth which I’m definitely going to need to visit soon.

TOP NOTCH SCOTCH EGGS

Last year I got my Dad a voucher for a scotch egg making class and we finally cashed it in last month! Top Notch Scotch Eggs are a small, independent business based in Durham, not far from Beamish, who specialise in making scotch eggs. They sell sooo many different kinds of scotch eggs and also do brilliant cooking classes where you can make your own. We had an absolutely class afternoon and made some tasty scran – as well as sampling some made by the pros. WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING

Here’s what I was watching in February.

1- ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA

I was SO excited for the new Ant-Man film and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Paul Rudd is bloody brilliant, some big moments and so fun. Also, I’m in love with Jonathan Majors!!

2- MODERN FAMILY

I’ve been rewatching Modern Family from the start which is great because the show is SO good, but also because Adam has never seen it all so it’s been class watching him watch it as well! I can never decide who my favourite character is though…

3- ELIMINATION CHAMBER

Eee well now hey. Elimination Chamber was a class ppv from start to finish…emphasis on the finish. Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn is one of the best matches I’ve seen since I started watching the wrestling. Absolutely unbelievable.
