Married life has honestly been a whirlwind so far – we’ve been loving it and had so many adventures – hence why, yet again, these debriefs are coming at you a little late and lumped together. Ooops! May and June were both filled with fun and you can read aaaaaall about it below.

HONEYMOONING

The best thing to happen in May? Our honeymoon to Florida! I’ve never been to Florida or to any Disney park before so as you can imagine…I was very excited! We had 2 incredibly magical weeks exploring Disney and Universal, did plenty of shopping, and even got to be in the audience for NXT live while we were there. Oh, and I met my favourite wrestlers Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae which made me cry (obviously). There’ll be more about Florida in future posts…

GIGS GALORE!

We’ve been to see a canny few bands the past couple months which has been mint. Throughout May and June we went to the following gigs; The Psychedelic Furs at Hard Rock Orlando, Blur at O2 City Hall, Arctic Monkeys at Riverside Stadium, KISS at Utilita Arena, Placebo at O2 City Hall, Sam Fender at St James’ Park, Benefits at Pop Recs Ltd, Queens of the Stone Age at The Piece Hall and Amigo The Devil at The Cluny!! It has been busy and CLASS!

THIRTY AND THRIVING

One of the biggest things to happen in June was that I turned 30! I had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends. I had a 90s themed fancy dress party and decided to go as Pamela Anderson in Barb Wire – very much vibed the look tbh! Feel like I also need to confess I didn’t do well with my 30 before 30 list (I blame planning a wedding) so I’m extending my deadline into this year to do before I’m 31. Am I cheating? Yes. WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING

Here’s what I was watching in May and June –

1- GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3

Well…I wasn’t ok was I. Cried like a baby the whole time! Easily one of the best Marvel movies and I can’t wait to watch it again when it comes to Disney Plus on the 2nd of August!

2- THE LITTLE MERMAID

PART OF YOUR WORRRRRRLD…
I absolutely LOVED the live action remake of The Little Mermaid. The cast were perfect and it was done so well. It was one of my favourite films as a kid and this didn’t disappoint. A huge thank you to Disney for casting Jonah Hauer-King and keeping my love for Prince Eric alive!

3- TED LASSO

Oh my GOD why did no one tell me to watch Ted Lasso sooner?! It’s an absolute emotional rollercoaster and bloody hell I’m just loving it. We’ve got Season 3 left to go and I don’t know if I can do it. I’m not ready to say bye to them. I’ve also fallen in love with Brett Goldstein…
