September was relatively quiet and it’s a good job really as we had a jam packed October! It’s my favourite month to be fair and I always try and fill it with lots of fun autumn activities. We did so much and now it’s time to tell you all about it!
WE’LL ALWAYS HAVE PARIS
The big thing that happened in October was a lovely trip to Paris! Adam surprised me with the plans for my 30th birthday back in June and we finally went and had the best time. I absolutely loved spending time in the city, and we did Disneyland too which was amazing! I’ll be posting all about it soon.

AUTUMN ACTIVITIES
Two of our favourite things to do in the autumn – pumpkin picking and Festival of Light!
We headed to East Grange Farm in Durham this year for our pumpkin picking – luckily we were able to go as it was the day after the bad weather and winds. We had such a lovely time, picked some fab pumpkins and had a nice cuppa and cake too.
We also headed along to the Festival of Light, this year in Mowbray Park instead of Roker. The lights were wonderful as always and it was lovely to have a stroll even in the rain.

FULL MOON RITUAL
I headed to my first ever Full Moon Ritual with SLS Crystal Boutique at Kepier Hall in Houghton and had such a wonderful evening! Jocelyn and I headed along with our blankets, pillows and crystals for an evening of affirmations, meditation, sound baths and manifesting and loved every second of it. I felt so relaxed throughout it all and afterwards – especially with a nice lavender tea to finish off! Can’t wait for the next.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
To finish off, we had the best time at our family Halloween party! I’m sure I’ve said this in the past but I love dressing as male characters and find it hilarious so was proper excited when I decided I was going to dress as Ryan Gosling’s Ken this year. I was even more excited when Adam agreed to dress as Barbie. He’s EVERYTHING…She’s just Ken.

WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING
Here’s what I was watching in October –
1- IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY…
I was so buzzing to see the newest series of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia added to Netflix. It was class having the gang back for a few episodes – the Risk E. Rats episode was a definite favourite!
2- THE LOST BOYS
Halloween night called for one of my absolute favourite films – The Lost Boys! Literally never get sick of watching this film, it’s just so cheesy and SO good. An absolute classic if you haven’t seen it, you need to give it a watch.
3- GOOSEBUMPS
I used to LOVE going to the library as a kid, I’d always get the Goosebumps books out and scare myself silly. We started watching the new series on Disney Plus and bloody hell, it’s so good but so creepy! The minute Slappy’s name got mentioned…SHIVERS.

There’s my October debrief for you. No rest for the wicked going forward through November and December, but I’ll keep you updated along the way!
