I know we’re nearly 2 weeks into 2023 but HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s been a busy start hence the reason my final debrief of last year is late but also – I posted every single one of them late last year so why change that habit now?! I’ve really enjoyed writing my monthly debriefs so I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that I plan on keeping them going this year. With that in mind, let’s reflect on the last month of 2022…it was pretty Christmas heavy!

Mind, I tend to actually spend most of my time scrolling through lists trying to make a decision on what to watch rather than ACTUALLY putting something on…there’s just so much choice!
We’re a few days into March now and Netflix have announced quite a few new shows/seasons for this month, so I thought I’d tell you about a few that I’m looking forward to.
With the return of Riverdale this week *cue screaming* it felt right to do a post about it for the blog – it’s one of my favourite tv shows! The cast is amazing, the storyline has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster and let’s not forget…THE HEARTTHROBS.
We talk about the younger lads of the show a lot. Jughead is mysterious and sexy, Kevin has a gorgeous face, Reggie is a beefcake and…do I even need to say anything about Archie?

So just to recap, it’s a DECADE since Gossip Girl began and because it’s my favourite show, I decided to do a series of blog posts dedicated to it! For my first I put together my top 10 episodes, which was ridiculously hard, and you can read that here.
Anyone who has seen the show will know that it is full of SNACKS, so I decided that I’d put together my definitive ranking of the men of GG! Now there are quite a few male characters, so I set myself a rule: they MUST have been in at least 10 episodes of the show. That means we’ve at least had the chance to get some decent form of storyline out of them enough to care and make a decision whether we rate or hate them!

It’s been a decade since the show began, and I still get shivers when I hear that line. Gossip Girl took over my life as a teen, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one. I mean, I say as a teen but I’ve never really gotten over it. I’ve re-watched the series in full every year since it finished, sometimes more than once. I go through phases of dressing like Blair Waldorf, I daydream about what it would be like to live on the Upper East Side, aaand… I fall in love with Chuck Bass every. Single. Time.

I know what you’re thinking, “WHAT has she been doing with her life?” Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love binge watching shows, but usually I spend all my cash on boxsets. I seriously pride myself on my DVD collection, but I’ve found a problem with splurging out on a boxset… I might not like it. This has happened to me twice recently, once with The Wire (I gave it 5 episodes but just couldn’t get into it, no matter how much I loved Idris Elba) and secondly with Girls (sorry, I know that’ll offend a lot of people).
