I’m sure I’m not alone when I say this… I love Pizza. So when the lovely Tasha, aka Hello Freckles, asked me if I’d like to join her at PizzaStorm, my answer was obviously YES!
I’ve been meaning to visit the restaurant for a while now, and I’m glad that I finally got round to it. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love a thin crust pizza, especially oven baked ones, which makes PizzaStorm the perfect place to go!
Their menu contains a signature range including the likes of Loaded Cheese Feast, Classic Pepperoni and even All Day Breakfast. They also have the option for you to create your own…and that’s what I decided to do.
For just £5.95 you can build your own pizza starting with your base/sauce, then through to the toppings – and that’s where things get difficult. There are SO many toppings to choose from, and you can include as many as you like! I decided not to go too crazy sticking with a classic tomato sauce, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, baby spinach, mushrooms and ham. The best part of it all…they only take 3 minutes to cook!
PizzaStorm also offer a range of sides priced at just £1.95. We chose the Garlic Ciabatta Breadbites and their special for that night – the wedges. Both were so moreish. Also priced at £1.95 are their refillable drinks which include different sodas and flavoured waters. For anyone after a cheeky bev, there are also a range of beers, ciders and wines on offer starting from £2.95.
I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest pizzas I’ve had in a while, and what’s even better is that you can pretty much do a full meal (including drink) for less than a tenner! If you’re late to the party like me, don’t wait any longer and get yourself along to PizzaStorm – you won’t regret it.
You can find the restaurant at Intu Eldon Square, Newcastle, NE1 7JB
