Eating at YO! Sushi is an experience in itself, but this week they’ve totally upped their game by bringing the art of Chindogu, aka ‘useless inventions’, to a select few of their restaurants!
The Japanese sushi and street food restaurant have created a very fun (and tasty) Chindogu menu in which they’ve paired a gadget with the perfect dish accompaniment to give diners a pretty unique experience they never even realised they needed.
I headed along to YO! on Grainger Street, Newcastle, to test out the four gadgets and it was great! If wearing a Napkin Hat whilst eating your Pumpkin Katsu Curry doesn’t put a smile on your face, I honestly don’t know what will.
You’ve got until Sunday 25th March to head along and test out the gadgets and menu, and if you want a little sneak peak at what you can expect, then look no further than my BurgessLYF vlog!
All participating restaurants are YO!’s Kensington and Southbank branches, and YO! Newcastle Grainger Street.
Thank you so much to W North for inviting me along and to the YO! Newcastle team for looking after me.
Gadgets or no gadgets, I’m looking forward to another visit soon!
