The Cosmetic Dental Clinic is a private dental practice based in Newcastle, and on Thursday 12th April I was invited along to the launch of their second clinic, which resides in one of Durham’s most thriving areas, Old Elvet.

YO! Sushi Chindogu – Newcastle
Eating at YO! Sushi is an experience in itself, but this week they’ve totally upped their game by bringing the art of Chindogu, aka ‘useless inventions’, to a select few of their restaurants!
PizzaStorm – Newcastle
I’m sure I’m not alone when I say this… I love Pizza. So when the lovely Tasha, aka Hello Freckles, asked me if I’d like to join her at PizzaStorm, my answer was obviously YES!
Tapas Revolution Bar – Newcastle
I’ve heard so many good things about Tapas Revolution, so when I was invited along to the launch of their new bar I was super excited!
Friday 8th December saw the opening of the new lounge on Blackett Street, which is inspired by the lively bars of Spain, and it was like Christmas came early! It features an extensive new Sangria menu, which is full of innovative and exciting fruity combos.

Band Crush: St. Buryan

I’ve been out of the loop with bands in the North East lately, mainly since I stopped organising my own gigs back in December, but I’ve been making an effort to listen to new music again and I’m glad I have or I wouldn’t have found St. Buryan!
My Autumn To-Do List!

Autumn is my favourite season, and it’s finally here once again!
I love watching the leaves fall, taking strolls through parks, indulging in hot chocolates, having cosy nights in, being surrounded by warm reds, oranges and browns…it makes me so happy. There’s just something about the season that calms me and puts me in the best of moods.
I want to embrace the season as best as I can and really make the most of the coming months, so I’ve decided to create an autumn to-do/bucket list!
NEW TUNES: NORTH EAST EDITION
As a music lover, I feel very lucky to be from the North East. The scene here is thriving, and has gone from strength to strength over the years. There’s so much talent on my doorstep… it’s inspiring.
I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with it all as a radio presenter, band manager and promoter. Through my work over the years, I’ve been introduced to so many incredibly talented bands and artists, and I’m constantly in awe of what I hear week in, week out.
I’ve had a few songs stuck in my head this past week and they’re all from North East artists, so I thought I’d put together a little post of my five favourite songs at the moment, and hopefully you dig them too!
