May: The Debrief

I know I’m a little late with May’s debrief but let me tell you it has been a hectic few weeks! I can’t quite believe that we’re basically halfway through the year now, it’s actually terrifying how fast time is flying!

Anyway, let’s have a catch up and I’ll tell you all about the month of May…

IS THIS LOVE?

The answer is yes, yes it was.

I headed along to Utilita Arena with Adam and his Auntie Anne for an unforgettable night seeing Europe, Foreigner and Whitesnake and let me tell you, it was INCREDIBLE! I was so buzzing about it and sang my heart out – think I did nearly lose my voice. So, SO good.

DIY QUEEN

We celebrated having our house for ONE WHOLE YEAR in May by getting the paint brushes out and finally starting to decorate a little. They advised us to wait a while for the walls to settle with it being a new build, and a year felt like long enough! We’ve started with our downstairs toilet and I can’t wait for you to see it once it’s finished. Tell you what as well mind – it was a bloody good workout!

WYNYARD WEDDING SHOW

Along with two members of my gorgeous bride squad, I headed along to a wedding showcase at Wynyard Hall! Whilst we’ve got most things sorted for our wedding, it was still nice to head along to get some ideas on suits, cakes and decor. Plus it was a lush excuse to get together and catch up over coffee and cake. What’s not to love?!

WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING

Here’s a few bits and bobs that I watched in May.

1- DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS
I’m going to keep this short and sweet. I was so excited for Doctor Strange and honestly, all these weeks on I’m still not entirely sure how I felt about it all. I’m so glad it’s coming to Disney+ this month because I need to watch it again and make my mind up!

2- DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA
Hello, Downton was so wonderful and so wholesome I cried my eyes out and everyone should watch it immediately. It was perfect.

3- OBI-WAN KENOBI
As a huge Star Wars fan, I’ve been incredibly excited for Obi-Wan coming to Disney+ and it hasn’t disappointed so far! We’re 4 episodes in now and it’s bloody excellent. Ewan McGregor has been bloody amazing back in the role and I can’t wait for the final two episodes.

A week into June now and as always, a busy few weeks ahead. Enjoy the month and we’ll catch up again soon! x
