March: The Debrief

March has been a crazy month – how has it been glorious sunshine one minute and snowing the next?! Like just pick a season!!!

Anyway, let’s catch up over my March debrief…

My gorgeous friend (and BRIDESMAID!) Jocelyn treat us to a fab spa evening at one of my favourite spas, Seaham Hall, which was absolutely fabulous and just what we both needed. Lounging in the pools, scranning some tasty food and getting a chance to relax together was just lovely. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a spa trip and haven’t visited Seaham Hall then I’d definitely recommend!

For Christmas Adam surprised me with tickets to see Orlando Weeks in Sunderland at the Fire Station and I was sooo excited to finally see him again! If you know me or have followed me for a while, you’ll know how much I loved The Maccabees and I love Orlando’s solo music too. The gig was excellent and I loved the venue too – so great to have something like that in the middle of Sunderland!

I think it’s safe to say that the best thing to happen in March was that we booked our honeymoon!!!! We’re heading to Florida and having never been, I can’t even BEGIN to tell you how excited I am. At this moment in time I feel like I’m even more excited for that than the wedding…? ANYWAY, I can’t wait to wear all different Disney themed outfits and ears and really embrace the trip. It’s going to be magical!!

I’m sure you know now that I love my telly and films, so here’s what I’ve been watching in March.

I can’t put into words how much I loved this series of Peaky Blinders. The whole of the cast are amazing but Cillian Murphy is just next level as Tommy Shelby. So tempted to watch the whole show again from the beginning tbh.

I’m telling you now right, I thought The Batman was outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. Robert Pattinson played the part so well and I think I actually sat with my mouth wide open for the opening 20 minutes. Also, Paul Dano as Riddler is one of the best performances I think I’ve ever seen. Brilliant film.

Oh my god, Peacemaker is brilliant. We’re only a few episodes in but I’m loving it – especially the opening credits. AMAZING!!!!

Now…let’s see what April brings!
