Favourite Films of 2017
Happy New Year!
2018 is already looking fantastic for films, so it felt right to make my first blog post of the year about my top 10 films of 2017.
I saw even more films than usual this year, thanks to my handy Cineworld Unlimited card (find out about that here). I still managed to miss quite a few though, but out of the ones I did see…here are my top 10!
Burgess’ Buff Blokes 2017
I love December. It’s when everyone reflects on their favourite things of the year. I like to take this time to look through my saved photos and see which famous lads I’ve been swooning over for the past 12 months. Yep, #BurgessBuffBlokes is BACK for 2017, and it has been tough.
I’ve taken a leaf out of Dua Lipa’s book, and decided to give myself some rules.
1- In order to be featured, they must have done something this year.
2- Only 3 men from my 2016 list could make it again in 2017!
Like last year, I have put a LOT of thought into this…probably a little too much. But here we have my list of 25, and you might want to take a seat to read it, because swooning is inevitable.

Tapas Revolution Bar – Newcastle
I’ve heard so many good things about Tapas Revolution, so when I was invited along to the launch of their new bar I was super excited!
Friday 8th December saw the opening of the new lounge on Blackett Street, which is inspired by the lively bars of Spain, and it was like Christmas came early! It features an extensive new Sangria menu, which is full of innovative and exciting fruity combos.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t get over how quickly this year has gone and now we’re in December! I managed to get on top of my Christmas shopping early this year, and was finished by pretty much the middle of November.

Conquering My Fear With CBT
We all have things that we don’t like, things that we’re frightened of. Mine is spiders. Over the past few years my fear of them was getting worse, and it was beginning to have an effect on my health. Whenever I came face to face with a spider in my house I’d cry hysterically, have a panic attack, and usually throw up. I couldn’t even bare to be left in the house alone in case one would appear.
